One of the great advantages of leaving in Europe and in a country such as England with good economy is the possibility and facility to travel around. Last year I didn’t have much chance to go to many different places, as until I found a job and settled down money was quite short.

But this year, with a full time job, will be the year to have my stroll around. First stop will be Dublin for Easter, then Germany for work and Italy with my dearest sister that comes to visit me in May.

And here are some other destinations already on the list: Madrid, New York, Edinburgh, Greece, Morocco, Egypt and Turkey.

Now the only thing short is my holidays. In total there are 8 bank holidays in England and that is counting Christmas and New Year, and all of them fall on Mondays. Besides that I have only 20 days for holidays per year, with a great bunch of it being spent on the annual visit to homeland country Brazil.

Who needs those holidays anyway?
Look at the bees. Do they seem sad?
They don't have a single day off. EVER.
Look at ants. Do they travel? yes- but only for work.
Get the point?
LOL
